Because our family and friends are spread out all over the country and because many will not be able to make it to the Dominican Republic, we will be hosting two different "at-home celebrations". Most of our guests will be invited to both the Dominican Republic and to one of the celebrations in the States.
Chicago-Land Celebration
The Chicago-Land celebration will take place on July 10 at Pinstripes Bistro in Northbrook, Illinois.
The food will include the following:
-Approximately four to five different passed appetizers (including prosciutto wrapped asparagus, stuffed mushrooms, mini Italian sliders, and mixed fruits/cheeses).
-Two savory stations, a flatbread pizza and bruschetta station and a pasta station.
-A gelato bar for dessert
The celebration will take on their outdoor patio, which includes two covered bocce ball courts that we have rented out for four hours. There will be live music along with an open beer and wine bar.

Connecticut Celebration
The Connecticut celebration will take place on July 31 at Winding Trails in Farmington, Connecticut. We have not fully planed out this celebration yet, but I am still really excited for it!
